Jane’s Journey
I was not created to be small, or sit in a corner silently
Jane is a powerhouse on the female empowerment stage. She has spent the last three decades inspiring and empowering women from all walks of life to step up and shine via her brand The Well Heeled Divas and in 2010 she founded Girls Out Loud CIC, a social enterprise on a mission to empower girls to find their voice and their confidence, which in turn leads to real aspiration, real change and long lasting success.
In 2025 Jane was awarded an MBE for her services to gender equality for women and girls.
She has won many awards for her work, most notably the Pour Moi most inspirational women in 2023, Forward Ladies Award for Social Impact in 2023 and was the inaugural winner of The ‘I Love Manchester’ Emmeline Pankhurst Award for services to female equity in 2023. In 2024 she was named as one of the Top 50 Northern Game Changers by Elevate.
Jane’s impact is awe-inspiring
She has worked with over 5,000 women as a coach and motivator, and as Founder and CEO of Girls Out Loud she has impacted the lives of over 30,000 teenage girls, trained over 2,000 mentors and 3,000 volunteers. To make this all happen she has single-handedly raised over £2m and her legacy continues as she scales the reach of this inspirational brand.

Jane’s background
Brought up in a wealthy, working class family with confused values and a narcissistic father Jane ended up alone and broke at 16. She pursued a successful corporate career that left her on the point of an emotional breakdown at 28 when she decided to take the risk and go it alone. She became a serial entrepreneur, her dream and her calling, but this was to be a roller coaster ride too. She made serious money and lost serious money twice and at 36, after meeting her soul mate, Tony, made the decision to get off the profit wheel and search for her purpose.
In 2002 she qualified as an NLP coach and Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and opened a coaching practice, quickly followed by creating The Well Heeled Divas, an organisation running retreats, workshops and coaching services for women to help them step up and shine. This was followed in 2010 by the creation of Girls Out Loud CIC which goes from strength to strength.
Jane is a highly qualified and experienced coach qualifying in 1998, a serial entrepreneur, published best-selling author, international speaker, content creator, Podcast Host, media commentator, trainer, workshop host, female space holder and all round female game-changer.
